Grandmaster Sudoku

Six ways to break a classic grid.

A sudoku app for people who’ve already solved every other sudoku app. Grandmaster Sudoku starts with a clean, classic grid across four difficulties, then adds six Grandmaster variants that change the rules rather than just the numbers — plus a daily puzzle and real-time races against friends.

Six ways to play Grandmaster

Beyond classic sudoku, each mode changes the rules — not just the difficulty.

Diagonal X

Both main diagonals must also hold every digit 1–9, on top of the usual rows, columns, and boxes.

Time-Attack

Race the clock — every correct entry buys you a little more time.

Blindfold

Digits fade from view soon after you place them. Hold the board in memory.

Jigsaw

Irregular jigsaw-shaped regions replace the usual 3×3 boxes.

Killer

Cages replace most of the starting numbers — sum your way to the solution instead.

Classic

The original 9×9, sharpened with a solve streak, best times, and a daily puzzle.

Race your friends, live

Create a room, share the code, and up to six players solve the exact same puzzle at the same time. Everyone generates the grid locally from a shared seed — no puzzle data crosses the wire — and the host starts the race once everyone's in. First correct completion wins; everyone else is ranked by how much of the grid they'd filled in when the race ended.
